Hi, I’m Dr. Kaitlin, the founder of The Mind Nest. As a dedicated clinical psychologist, I’m passionate about helping young people navigate life’s challenges with confidence and resilience.
With years of experience in providing evidence-based therapies, I specialize in supporting children, adolescents, and young adults struggling with a host of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, OCD, anger, and relationship struggles. I am trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and incorporate these foundations into my therapeutic practice. I am currently pursuing formal training in the collaborative assessment and management of suicidality (CAMS) to support young people who are experiencing suicidal ideation and look forward to formally incorporating this into my practice soon. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each individual’s unique needs, ensuring they feel heard, understood, and empowered.
At The Mind Nest, my goal is to create a safe and welcoming space where young people can develop the skills they need to thrive. I believe in the power of connection, growth, and healing—and I’m here to support you and your family every step of the way.
When I'm not in the office, I am most likely found spending time with my husband and our four kiddos and enjoy playing outside, baking, reading, and being creative.
